Thank you for your message about Wiley Robertson. Wiley and Elizabeth Dawkins Robertson's son John Wilson Robertson is said to be my grandfather's father. We would appreciate the list of the other children of Wiley and Elizabeth. We understand Wiley died in Ashland, Clay Co., Alabama but have never been able to confirm this or the date of his or Elizabeth's death. We have been told of a different birth date for Wiley (Wylie?) Robertson's birth (9-15-1801) from a family Bible we have never seen but he definitely did marry Elizabeth Dawkins by all acounts. We have no certain information on her date and place of birth or parents. We're excited to find somebody with information and we will gladly share what we have as well.

Wiley married Elizabeth Dawkins on 13 Sep 1821 in Putnam Co, GA. Elizabeth (daughter of William Dawkins, Jr. and Mary Jordan) was born on 18 Jul 1798 in Putnam County, GA; died on 30 Dec 1873 in Clay County, AL. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. John Wilson Robertson was born on 20 May 1824 in Pike County, AL; died on 5 Dec 1899 in Brundidge, AL.
3. Henry A. Robertson was born on 15 Oct 1825 in Talbot County, GA; died in 1900.
4. Allen Jordan Robertson was born on 12 Mar 1828 in Haralson County, GA; died on 15 Aug 1905 in Corn Hill, TX; was buried in Corn Hill Cemetery.
5. Wyatt Alexander Robertson was born on 21 Jul 1830 in Troup County, Georgia; died on 4 Jan 1915 in Phoenix City, Alabama; was buried in Girard Cemetery, Russell County, AL.
6. James Wiley Robertson was born on 8 Feb 1833.
7. Mary Anne Robertson was born on 15 Apr 1834 in Talbot County, GA; died on 6 May 1917; was buried in Moran, Shackleford, TX.
8. Martha Ann Elizabeth Robertson was born on 18 Mar 1837 in Talbot County, GA; died on 30 Mar 1919 in Rocky Mount, AL.
9. Herrod B. Robertson was born on 15 Apr 1839 in Talbot County, GA; died on 18 Nov 1858.
